DIGITAL COMPOSITE V-A-W METERS

A concept pioneered and introduced in India, by us in 1988 have been the most successful products of it's kind. Thousands of these instruments have found applications in wide ranging varieties such as testing of energy meters' pot-coils to huge megawatts pumping stations in single-phase / three-phase / true-rms & DC modules. High reliability and low insertion losses, with excellent ability to withstand high surge currents have made them work-horses in many QC facilities.

Many equipment, with embedded V-A-W Meters, have been designed for specific applications.

Some of the examples are:

1 Motors-cum-Ballast Test Panel, containing a variac, dual range V-A-W Meter and protection.
Lighting Test Panel, containing true-rms instruments, can analyse complete lighting fixtures for it's electrical performance. It can handle specimens from CFL lamps to 1000W high power fixtures.
Appliance Test Panel, that incorporates a variac with V-A-W Meter as well as an isolation transformer with true-rms leakage current meter.

Custom - built Equipment for Automatic Testing and/or Data Capturing

Over the last 22 years, Delta have produced thousands of made-to-order equipment for a wide variety of customers.

Some of the typical examples being:

a) Complete self-contained testing kit: in office-size brief case. The kit weighing about 7.5 kg. contains 2A-variac, V-A-W Meter and built-in protection. The kit is highly useful for demonstration / sample-checking at vendors premises / field comparison of various products, etc.

b) PLC - Controlled Electrical Test Station:
This equipment is designed to check insulation resistance, h.v. flash-over and running current / power for mass production of appliances, ranging from kitchen-mixers to air-conditioners. It can test upto 3000 appliances in a 12 hour shift.
